August 19, 2009 - Elna Magnetics, located in Woodstock, NY, and Eastern Components, located in West Conshohocken, PA, jointly announce that Elna Magnetics will purchase the assets of Eastern Components effective September 1, 2009.

Both companies are authorized distributors for some of the world’s major producers of ferrite and other magnetic components, as well as offer value-added manufacturing capabilities.

Eastern Components is pleased to join forces with the Elna Magnetics sales force to continue to supply Eastern’s customer base with what it has always received – exceptional service, broad product offering, and value-added services. We are pleased to announce that Angela Musto and Marge Gee will be joining Elna’s sales team on September 1, 2009.

Principal product lines of the firms include: Epcos, Fair-Rite Products, Ferrite International, Ferroxcube, Leadertech (FerriShield), Magnetics Inc., Metglas, Micrometals, MH&W, MMG, and TGL Technologies. Elna Magnetics is adding Ferrite International, Leadertech, and Micrometals to its linecard and there will be no disruption to your supply. Management of both companies look forward to a smooth combination of sales forces, and assures clients that, “Before, during, and after the sale you can expect an uninterrupted level of service and support.”
