High frequency tags: Ferroxtag is a High Frequency
tag (13.56 MHz) optimized for working attached to
metallic items. It also works very well around
liquids and thanks to its small size can be very easily
attached to almost everything.

The
design of Ferroxtag on Metal Screw Box is
intended to be screwed, ribetted or even glued on
the item to be identified. The robust design allows
operation even in the toughest environments. This
tag is also suitable for extreme temperatures above

Ferroxtag
with bar code is designed to ease the mounting on
a very wide variety of boxes or items. It is suitable
for gluing thanks to its long surface.
The
key feature is that allows automatic identification
through RFID and manual reading with a simple bar
code reader. The bar code printed on top is the last
4 bytes of the ID number of the tag. Data

What
is RFID?
Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID), is a generic
term for technologies that use radio waves to automatically
identify objects. There are several methods
of identification like: bar codes, optical character
readers or some biometric technologies, such as retinal
scans, but the most common is to store a serial number
that identifies the object, and perhaps other information,
on a microchip that is attached to an antenna. These
technologies are used to reduce the amount of time
and labor needed to input data manually and to improve
data accuracy.
The
FerroxTag core is an outstanding high magnetic permeability
ferrite material that enhances the performance
of the winding, thus reducing the dimensions of the
coil.

2. Ferroxtag High frequency inlays:
FerroxTag inlays are outstanding High Frequency (13.56
MHz) tags optimized for minimum dimensions with long
reading ranges. The inlays are the optimal solutions
for customers that will integrate the inlay into their
own product. They can be molded into boxes of embedded
into metallic items.
The
Integrated Circuit used is NXP ICode SLI, so the tags
can be read by almost every HF reader.
Dimensions
are really tiny compared with the reading range obtained:
16 x 8 x 2.5 mm that can be read at 30 to 40 cm with
a long range reader.The inlays are delivered in standard
tape on reel for optimal protection before assembly
